Our Story
Architreasures’ History
More than 20 years ago, a group of architects and community development professionals founded Architreasures to facilitate partnerships with low-income communities to transform public spaces and support the revitalization of disinvested neighborhoods.
Since then, Architeasures’ work has produced 150+ projects across 35 Chicago neighborhoods, resulting in tangible, physical improvements in some of our most under-served communities, while promoting civic engagement and social connections among project participants.
