There are three neighborhoods at

Legends South, and each

is named after a

famous woman in

African American history.

We made framed pieces commemorating each of these women:

Lorraine Hansbury

Bessie Coleman,

& Mahalia Jackson.

We had a great summer at Legends South.

We made mosaic stepping stones, two tree tables with

benches, four mosaic framed signs, and a movie screen.

We had a big celebration and movie night with the

whole Legends South community. Special thanks to

Whitney Weller and the Legends South leasing office

for helping make everything a success!
