Legends South (2008) 4034 South State Street The Chicago Housing Authority's Plan for Transformation calls for new construction of mixed income housing to be occupied by public housing, affordable, and market rate residents equally. At Legends South, this Plan is a work in progress and archi-treasures has been invited to bring our unique participatory design process to bear on a newly opened park. Residents from diverse backgrounds will participate in a design charette to brainstorm art and garden projects. The best ideas will be implemented by resident youth hired to work during the summer. |
